Apply these three engagement photo tips to your upcoming session and I promise it won’t be awkward!  Well…I can’t promise that it won’t be awkward (at first) but I can assure you will have fun.

Tip #1 • BE PREPARED TO HAVE FUN.
Yes, come ready for lots of laughs.  My goal is for you two to enjoy your time with us and each other.  While I totally get the “I hate taking pictures” mentality, I challenge you to block that out while you are getting dressed for your session and place your focus on each other and where you are in the journey of becoming married people.

Tip #2 • SING YOUR HEART OUT
Having a hard time calming those nerves?  Turn on some music and sing at the top of your lungs while driving to our location.  Don’t worry, I’ll be doing the same.

Tip #3 • POSING IS OUR JOB
Don’t get hung up on posing.  I will never say:  Ok, pose for us.  If I do say that, it’s because I’m trying to get you to do Tip #1.  Seriously, I will direct you and help you the entire session.  I’m not looking for the perfect pose, I want the moments you two create naturally.

There are about 173 more engagement photo tips I can share, but let’s save them for another post.

If you have an upcoming engagement photo session with me – – I’m looking forward to spending the afternoon with you and I expect all these tips to be memorized.  See you soon 😉
